The Marten Coltrane Momento 2 is a four-way passive-radiator loudspeaker using a 0.75-inch diamond tweeter, a 2-inch diamond upper-midrange driver, a 7-inch ceramic midrange unit and six 8-inch aluminium-sandwich bass drivers. Four rear-mounted 10-inch aluminium-sandwich passive radiators extend low-frequency output without conventional bass-reflex ports. The specified frequency range is 20Hz–100kHz within ±2dB, with crossover points at 350Hz, 3.5kHz and 8kHz.

Its first-order crossover is derived from the architecture developed for the Coltrane Supreme 2 and is designed to maintain time and phase coherence across all four frequency bands. The network uses silver-gold capacitors, copper-foil paper-in-oil capacitors, copper-foil inductors and custom resistors, with Jorma internal wiring and WBT Nextgen bi-wire terminals. A Statement Edition upgrade adds Jorma Statement cabling and higher-grade crossover components.

The enclosure combines 25mm carbon-fibre laminate side panels with 70mm laminated solid-wood front, rear, top and bottom sections, producing a highly rigid, heavily damped 210kg structure. Polished stainless-steel supports with Marten Isolators provide controlled mechanical decoupling from the floor. Sensitivity is 90dB/2.83V/1m, nominal impedance is 6Ω with a 3.7Ω minimum, and rated power handling is 450W.
